Hey everyone. thanks for looking!!!. if your here then you know what your looking at. its time for me to sell this baby. times are not tough . however there's no time for me to use it and she just sits and sits. id really like to see it go to someone who will appreciate this car and actually drive it. i believe that in 10 more years this car will be worth more not less.  if your looking for a clean . rare.  unmolested original M5. then this might be the car for you. ive added over 200+HD pictures on this same page to view. just scroll down.

I purchased the car one year ago . i thought i will keep this car forever. but since im not using it . its up for sale. im not in a rush to sell it. it has a good home under a cover all day. so i will take my time and sell it to the right person for the right amount. my car is priced slightly higher than the average ones on sale but its also a'lot nicer and cleaner and has lower miles than most  M5's out there . this is not some car you can find at the dealer around the corner. im the third owner on this car. the first two were father and son. both adults .  car was used in Marina del rey California. always garaged.   i don't have any service records on the car. i haven't done anything major on this car besides regular maintenance since i've had it.  my BMW mechanic went through the whole car and was amazed and in love. everything checked out fine.  i know about cars myself and this car checks out just fine in my book.
The exterior looks very nice. there's very little wear and tear since 1988. if you look very close  you could find very minor ding or two. and a minor chip or two. all the trims and molding are in good shape. all windows are in good shape. there's no rust on this car. all the rims are in good shape. the left front rim is missing the bmw decal. the underbelly is clean. no damages or rust. tires are in good shape. antenna works fine but its kind of loose. new one is $75. the front spoiler has some scratches on the lower part of it. hard to see. on the hood theres a spot where the paint is not perfect . about 1. 5 inch ( bird poop ) left a spot. you'll have to be close to notice. i think that's about it . it is a 88. it has been used . so figure the wear and tear . it was not parked in a museum . but its definitely way above average.  all lights work fine.  and this car looks amazing. from close or far.  BMW enthusiasts spot it from far away and comment on it every time. or give me thumbs up. i always wanted to take it to BMW meets and shows . but never had the time.

the interior is nice. the dash is leather . very cool option. and yes its in excellent shape . no bubbles or tears. all the gauges work fine. all power windows work fine. power door locks work fine. power sunroof works fine. has the original Bmw stereo . works fine. driver seat shows minor wear but all intact and both front seats are power and both seats are heated. the driver seat front section that extends  back and forth doesn't work . has the original owners manual . tape cleaner kit and some other brochures. carpets are very clean however you will need to order a new set of bmw mats . it doesn't have one. i use plastic mats. there are no check engine lights or warning lights on. steering wheel and shift knob are in great shape. the trunk area is like new. the Pirelli spare tire is like new. has all the tools and the bmw duster. this is a well kept car!!!! it will be tough to find the same car or even one that's in similar shape.
Mechanically the car starts up right away and runs good. i have 4 original keys.  the motor does not smoke. leak . or shake. its been gently used all its life and it shows. the clutch is in perfect shape . and it shifts through gears very tightly with no grinding or any surprises. the suspension feels very solid and tight . car drives straight on the highway. it doesn't mind speed at all. it dances after 55mph and wants to go 155. it was made for speed not for the city. it was the worlds fastest sedan in its time.  the AC blows cold and heater work just fine.  brakes are very tight and feel new. no pulling or shaking. car runs at normal temperatures and does not overheat. its a safe . reliable. M5.
