1984 Mazda RX-7

Up for sale is this well maintained. great running. 1984 Mazda Rx 7 GSL with 5-speed manual and only 105. 00 original miles. I acquired this Rx 7 from the second owner who had the car in his family for over 20 years. Most of the miles were put on from 1984-1991 by the original owner in Texas. The second owner family took the car from Texas to Florida and used it only sparingly as a weekend cruiser. It is 100% rust free. having spent it's entire life in Texas. Florida and since last fall in Virginia. Always garaged. Original paint with wonderful shine and only a few minor blemishes. Just passed a rigorous Virginia State inspection last week (March 2018 sticker) + clear Virginia title. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this cross-country tomorrow. If you are looking for a cool and reliable 1970's/80's vintage sports car but you've been priced out of the Datsun 280 z. BMW 2002. Porsche 944 market etc. consider the high reving. fast acceleration of the rotary powered early Rx 7's.

There are two minor issues that the next owner may or may not want to attend to. 1) both electric windows go down slowly but go back up at normal speed. If you have patience it's not a big deal. 2)the lower plastic lip under the front end has been removed after various scrapes with parking lot stops. Replacements are under $150.
Here's a chance to acquire a mechanically sorted first generation Rx 7 with all the right improvements (exhaust. suspension. 15" wheels/tires etc) for a price way below what it would cost to find another stock Rx 7 in this condition with all these upgrades. I've been divesting myself of a few Mazda's from my collection to focus on other marques. I have $9. 00 invested. so I am offering this car at a loss. "Reasonable" offers considered.
