1971 Buick Lesabre Custom 4 door sedan. 59289 original miles. This car was bought new in Thunder Bay. Ontario.  I believe I am the third owner. The car seems to have been painted once. I included a picture of a spot under the hood that I believe was the original color. The car sat in storage for couple of years before I bought it and needed parts replaced for it to be road worthy again. The following work was done:
-New gas tank
-New fuel sending unit
-New fuel pump
-New performance spark plug wires
-New performance plugs
-New fuel filter -New air filter
-Fresh Oil Change
-Fresh transmission flush
-New fuel line front to back
-Rebuilt carburator from mikes carburator parts
-New radiator
-New top coolant hose
-New Performance Mallory Distribitor
-New Performace Mallory coil
-New dual exhaust with flowmaster super 40 knockoff mufflers (sounds great!) from classicexhaustinc. com
The car was safetied last summer and should not need anything but I am not providing a safety. There is a dent in the front bumper on the passenger side. a rip in the seat on the front drivers side. some paint chips here and there. the AM radio does work but only the front middle speaker works. all other speakers will need to be replaced. The car runs great. All chrome is in very nice condition. it looks to have been rock guarded near the bottom. the interior is in nice shape. the engine bay is quite clean for the year showing no rust. I tried getting pictures of the under body but I do not own a hydraulic lift. if interested I can use a floor jack to take some pictures. The under body has been coated with an oil to prevent corrosion. Drive it how it is or make it what you want it to be. Comes with a cover. This was my first car and I am sad to see it go but it is time to move on.
