This is a Hummer collector opportunity for the collector who wants to legally drive their US Military Humvee on Colorado roads and highways. As you know the State of Colorado is clamping down on Military HMMWVs and some models are not allowed on Colorado roadways but this HMMWV is approved by the State of Colorado for ON-ROAD USE.   Of course it can be driven off-road also!  I drive this in town and it gets noticed!!

This M998 Humvee is in very good condition and is a 1986 former USMC US Military M998 HMMWV in a four-door soft top configuration. I have stored it indoors. It is time for someone else who wants to take this into the great Colorado outdoors where it was designed to drive!  This does not have to be trailered. because it can be driven there!!!

Very good condition. Only 19. 95 miles or thereabouts. (I drive it every week. )

One of the best 4x4 drive trains and suspensions ever designed. All time 4WD with CV joint technology for smooth turning. Makes tight turns!
High ground clearance.
Heavy steel chassis.
Mostly aluminum body (doesn't rust).

Strong heater and defrost but no A/C. Take the doors off in summer!!!
Relatively new soft top with no leaks.

This vehicle has not been abused and has no accident damage.
This vehicle does not have a key ignition but one can be installed if you want. (It has standard military gauges and military lights and military start switch. etc. )

Keep in mind this IS NOT a 80mph vehicle! Speedometer tops out at 60MPH.   This is NOT a Hummer H1 civilian. and top comfortable speed is about 55mph!!!!!!!!!! This Military Vehicle is 24volt and it has no radio or 12v anything.   A 24v-12v converter can be added for charging cellphones. etc. . and all kinds of accessories and add-ons are available to customize this HMMWV to the extreme. This is also a good first vehicle for a teenager first car because they cannot go over 55-60mph!!! Can be customized or kept as a Military Collector Vehicle.   Is in original condition and has not been modified.

This is also a great vehicle for any American-owned business that works outdoors. including the oil and gas drilling industry. oil exploration. oil services. police. sheriff or mountain rescue. forest and brush fire crews. ski-area maintenance. tour guides. or even for a rancher or farmer who needs something better than just a Jeep to run and maintain fences or drive hay into pastures and fields or check on livestock. Also good for outdoor contractor. excavation company or builder working in muddy or rough road conditions. Even a movie production company can use this. because this is original and all US Military unmodified. so it is also great for the purist collector. This vehicle is for the buyer who really wants an ON AND OFF ROAD LEGAL HMMWV in Colorado. Humvee also is being serviced for next owner. including oil and filter change. new fuel filter. new air filter. new injectors and also new glow plugs just to insure perfect starts and also best engine reliability for next owner.   I have this done as a courtesy to the next owner!

This HUMVEE runs great! Drives smooth. Auto transmission shifts smoothly.
