ULTRA RARE TOYOTA CELICA ST Ltd EDITION Convertible GRIFFITH SUNCHASER RHD. 44K Miles1982. 5 SPEED. br>The pictures pretty much speak for themselves. this car is in amazing condition and is very very rare. From what I know there were only 2000 ever made and most went to the USA as plastic bumper LHD models. this is a UK spec metal bumber RHD. I believe only 10 made for the UK. It has 44K miles. 5 speed manual ( good useable mpg ) 1. 6 engine with twin carbs. rear wheel drive. Bodywork and underside are in Top condition. I have owned it for over three years and hardly done any miles in it. It was pale blue when I bought it and over the past few years I have totally waxoiled the underside. stripped and had painted the bodywork. fitted period Celica Supra seats. eplaced engine oil. filters. plugs. leads etc. I think ive probably done about 400 miles in 3 years in it.
I have included a photo of the car before I decided to change it from pale Blue to Black so you can see the condition it was in before paint.
If you are interested. best way of finding out more about this rare car is to google search Celica Sunchaser or come and have a look / inspect mine. It went straight through the last MOT and has always been garaged or under a carport. It will come with a full 12 months MOT to the winning bidder. Remember it is 30 years old so please don't expect a showroom car. there are little things that I still like to do to it so i'm sure somebody who buys it will want to replace things. I have four period Celica Supra Alloys that I have sandblasted and painted black then started polishing them. I hope to get them to mirror finish polish but not quite there yet. They are the best looking wheels for this car as they are wide and fill the arches. The Steel wheels on it are standard and all have almost knew tyres.
Only reason for sale is that my kids want me to get a VW Splitscreen or Early T2 camper so if it does not sell I will just keep it as it will only appreciate in value. especially if it is kept garaged or carported in this condition. Please. no silly offers or overseas bidders. as you can see from my feedback I am a genuine e-bayer.
