1940 hudson 2 dr sedan . 350 /350 turbo a/c tilt . I just bought this great old hudson at an auction . it's an older build that still shows very well if you've been looking for a streetrod for a reasonable price this is the one I've never owned one that was this nice in this price range. Exterior: I hated the color when I was buying the car off of a pic and was planning on repainting it. but in person the pearl really tones the pink down and I think it's just too nice to repaint plus I can sell it cheaper and let the new owner make that descision. I would say the car was built in the early 90. and had been garage kept the body is arrow straight. it was a high end job when it was done and the car was obviously in pieces . The only flaws i noticed is a couple of small bubble at the bottom of both doors and a few places on the hood   where it is lifting under it but you have to have it isn't very bad t I would never bother with either place unless I was going to make a show car for a driver / small car show type of deal it's plenty nice enough.     the overall finish is very nice for an older build and a car in this price range and because it's been done for probably 20 years you shouldn't have any bad surprises t. The grill and door handles are pitted and need to be rechromed but the stainless is nice . All of the rubber and weatherstripping is nice the wheels and tires are in great shape. Interior: Very very nice original seats . no rips or tears cold blowing a/c but for some reasn it dosen't blow as hard as it should aftermarket guages that work including the gas guage. Original speedometer is kind of bouncy and not very accurate. Mechanical: Great running small block chevy (i'm guesing 350) 3 speed auto trans great sounding dual exhaust. Original front suspension and brakes with upgraded dual reservoir mastercylinder. The car drives and runs great dosen't wander or pull has a very small amount of slack that i beleive could be adjusted out of the steering box stops just fine especially for the original suspension and brakes . I have tried to represent this car as honestly as i can please keep in mind it's an old car and I just bought it I haven't driven it very much so I don't know about a cross country trip however I would probably try it (i've driven farther  in worse) and if you decide to drive it home we'll make every effort to make it ready for the trip. Please call me if oyu have any questions 870-692-0249   I am going to cruzin the coast and could arrange free delivery there if vehicle is paid for before i leave
