The Rivage was one of the last and best-equipped models of the Mk1 Golf GTi Cabriolet. Only 470 Rivage models were ever sold in the UK. with only 252 of those having leather trim. So with the inevitable decline in numbers over the last twenty years ( only around 170 left registered ) this is a very rare car. and the most desirable of all the Mk1 Cabriolets featuring a power hood. heated leather seats. electric windows. magnesium alloy Le Castellet polished alloy wheels and a six speaker stereo system.
The car is in its original state and apart from the bonnet which has been re-painted at some stage over the last 22 years all the other panels still have their original paint on. This car is a very genuine low mileage example. unfortunately the service history is not full but there are bills and receipts dating back 10 years. This includes a very recent cab belt change and full service.
The car really needs to be seen to be appreciated. and to see just how nice and genuine it is!!
The car has just been MOT'D and TAXED for 6 months.

How many owners have there been, has it ever been in any accidents (i.e. CAT D,C,B or A) and would it be HPI clear?
