1951 Oldsmobile Super 88 Holiday Coupe - Utah Showroom
For 1951. the 88 was now the entry-level Olds with the discontinuation of the six-cylinder 76 line. which meant that all Oldsmobiles were powered by Rocket V 8 s. New this year was the more upscale Super 88 line on the new GM B-body which included restyled rear body panels. a more luxurious interior. and a slightly longer 120-inch wheelbase as opposed to the 119. 5-inch wheelbase which had been standard since the 88's introduction. New was an I-beam frame.
This first year Super 88 has been nicely restored and presented in Shoal Green with White roof. The body. paint and chrome trim are exquisite. Full size Fiesta spinner wheel covers and wide whitewall tires add to the appeal. Chromed window surrounds. belt line trim. front fender and quarter panel accents and dual exhaust tips really help set off the Futuramic styling. The broadcloth interior is period correct and shows well.
This Oldsmobile is powered by the famous Rocket V-8 and backed by a Hydramatic transmission. The underhood and trunk compartment are nicely detailed.

Deposit
We require a $1500 deposit within 3 days of winning the auction. Please call the dealership to make arrangements for payment.
