1979 Datsun Z-Series for sale

No reserve for this incredibly rare Citrus Green 1979 Datsun 280 zx with a 5 spd.
The car runs. drives. and brakes. It's almost 40 years old. No major signs of rust. I bought the car locally where the owner garaged it. and mentioned the previous owner was as meticulous.
I don't know the history beyond that.
Color - Throughout the Z community the Citrus Green 280 zx's are the rarest model of any Z car. I have confirmed with Nissan in Japan. and the Nissan Design Center here in the USA that indeed the color is rare. but Datsun kept poor data back then and couldn't provide 100% confirmation on how many Citrus Green's were produced. According to some sources less than 100 were produced. * The build date on this Z is 9/1978. which Citrus Green 280 zx's were only early build dates.

Interior -
- Brand new black carpet
- Driver seat has a tear - A rear hatch piece needs tabs to stay in place - Dash Cracked
Exterior - - Previous owner had a bra attached to the car. It faded the paint on the nose a bit.
I imagine a nice buff would even the paint. - Nickel size pink patch on the hood was applied by previous owner to prevent rust. - The bra caused a slight dent on driver side fender where it attached - Standard wear and tear for the age. A few light dents- Front lip piece has wrinkle-Windshield has sctrach due to wipers
Wheels -- Missing one wheel cap on passenger rear.
Engine - -Runs strong. fresh oil. seals leaking
Transmission - - 1 st and 2 nd gear have a rattle. shift into 3. . it smooths out.
Recommend a flush or replacing the transmission. - 1979 a Datsun 280 zx came standard with a 4-spd. at some point this car got an upgrade to 5 spd.
Exhaust - - Needs replaced. headers back.
I bought this car a year ago with plans to restore. But I figured due to the uniqueness of the color I should let a Z enthusiast restore it like they want. Just registered with WASHINGTON STATE with classic plate.
