Incredibly rare original longbed 1965 Toyota FJ45 left hand drive. Very rare. desirable. US model.  This is the ULTIMATE rig. Has the classy original look with modern conveniences which enhance comfort and performance.

 

Went through a 5 year ground up restoration in 2004 including:

-Body taken down to bare metal. sandblasted. primed and repainted Forest Green (Land Rover Defender Green). The original truck was rock solid so NO patch panels were needed.

-400+ HORSEPOWER Rebuilt 1965 Big Block Chevy 402 (Bored 396) with Chevy TBI Fuel Injection. Tilton Mini Starter. Comp Cams 4x4 cam. Harland Sharp Roller Rockers. Edelbrock Intake. Edelbrock Aluminum Waterpump. PS cooler. Custom 5 Core Radiator (This will NEVER overheat. Always runs at 180 degrees)

-Approximately 20K since rebuild.

-Painless Wiring harness.

-Bulletproof Custom 1 Ton Axles (Dana 60 Front professionally narrowed 12”) and  (GM Corporate 14 bolt Rear Professionally Narrowed 12” w/ Detroit Locker).

-Nv4500 5spd Transmission with NP203/205 Doubler Transfer Case Twin Stick (Northwestfab adapter).

-Custom 1 Ton Drivelines: Front 24 Inch Slip 1420 U Joints & Rear 1350 U Joints all Spicer Components.

-Factory Gages are there but are not functional (Never Hooked Up. Aftermarket gauges there and functioning).

-There is a small dent on the bottom of the passenger door. (See detailed picture).

No corners were cut. Unlike most other capable 4x4s. this Truck drives incredibly well with no rattles. shimes. vibrations. etc. Very reliable and easy to drive. Again. this truck will run comfortably 65 MPH on the highway or run the Rubicon with ease. There are very FEW trucks in the world where you can say that!  As you can see from the build description only the BEST available parts. accessories. etc were used. All electrical works as it should. The paint and body are excellent (no dings dents or scratches other than small dent in passenger door). Own this truck TODAY at less than a third of build cost.

What we list in the ad is what the odometer currently reads or is based off rebuild information of the engine and or body/chassis. Also. you cannot do a Carfax or Autocheck on any VEHICLE older than a 1981.
