1978 HZ Kingwood Stationwagon. factory 5 seat 253 trimatic. now running strong 308 with T 350 transmission.
GTS dash (yellow needle) GTS steering wheel (original 3 mm vgc) GTS Mirrors GTS wheels with antitheft GTS centre caps. Yokohama tyres good tread. GTS wheel nuts.
Guards have weld-in flutes
Power steering. air-con (needs re gassing). cruise control (needs new cable).
Retrimmed cloth interior in vgc.
Electric windows (tinted) and tailgate which all work.
Car was on dual fuel however gas was removed when car was put on club registration in March last year. It has a half size petrol tank in it but will also come with a full size tank also which I have run out of time to install.
Club registration isn't transferable so buyer will need permit to drive home if wishing to do so however as I obtained a rwc only twelve months ago I doubt it will need much to get another rwc.
Motor is very strong and goes well it's a QT 78 xxxx block with a mild cam. Bosch electronic dizzy and pacemaker extractors into a 2. 5 single. sounds very nice. I can send video of car running on request. just message me.
I've just replaced the t 350 pan gasket which seems to have stopped a minor leak. trans goes well too. Diff is either a 2. 78 or 3. 08 Salisbury.
Paint is reasonable but not great. it is the main thing that would take this car to the next level. there is some minor rust on the inside of the tailgate and a minor bubble on one of the LH doors so nothing major. There are a couple of dents in the front guards and the r/h weld in flute could be tidied up.
NO TIME WASTERS.
