Beautifully restored 1957 Austin Cambrian (Cambridge) A55 4-door Sedan.

Second owner. Car originally bought new at Todd Motors in Kelowna. BC.

65000 Original Miles. Original engine and upholstery.

Original Repair and Parts Manual and Austin A55 Cambridge Supplement Manual included. Excellent running condition. Collector Plates.

British Collector Car - The British Cambridge was sold as the Cambrian in North America. It's vehicle decals: Cambrian and A55 are on the back trunk.

Manual Transmission - 3 shift on steering wheel with overdrive Factory Left hand drive. Red leatherette interior. as pictured Spare tire included. Spare rear window included. Good Glass condition with no cracks or chips All trim and mirror and glass is intact. Factory cover plate for radio socket. Glove box is intact Heater is functional Original hub caps. All new exterior paint. Rebuilt driver's seat and repaired leatherette.

The car can be started by using the dash pull start. or for fun. you can use the hand crank to start the car!

Gas level sending unit not working correctly. There is a small paint chip under where the hood comes down where someone just dropped it and it didn't come down square.   Its in the groove where the hood and fender meet and about 1/2 inch by 1/8th inch. if that.   Easy to touch up with the right paint.

From Wikipedia: "In January 1957. the A55 Cambridge was introduced to replace the A50 model. It used the same 1. 5 L B-Series engine as its predecessor. though with a higher compression ratio: 51 hp (38 kW) at 4250 rpm was now available. The Cambridge had been restyled somewhat and now had a larger boot and much larger rear window. The car was also lowered by fitting 13 in (330 mm) road wheels which were smaller than those on the A50 but the overall gearing remained the same by changing the rear axle ratio. Two tone paint was an option. Just over 150. 00 were produced when it was replaced by a new Pininfarina-designed A55 Cambridge for 1959. "

I too have an Austin Cambrian, a 1958, but I don't have the Manuals and I need them badly. What would you take to separate the manuals from the car? I could make direct payment for them by e-transfer. BTW, I lived in Kelowna until 2000, how are you getting along with the smoke?
