Now available in our Philly location is a beautiful 1958 Austin Healey 100-6 “Nasty Boy”. This is a real 100-6 not a replica! A complete restoration was done on this car and was completed in 2010. Since then it has won. 1 st place 2010 Austin Healey sports and touring. 1 st place 2011 Cars of England of Delaware Valley. 1 st place 2013 Mc Laren of Philadelphia High Performance award and 2015 Best in Class at the Chariots of Fire Multi Car show. A “Nasty Boy” is an Austin Healey that has had an American V 8 transplanted into the engine compartment. Putting a V 8 in this Healey was just the beginning. The V 8 in this case is a 350 ci Chevy with roller rockers and Edelbrock intake with a Holley carburetor. Power transfers through a 700 R 4 automatic to a Ford 9” rear with 3:92 gears. The custom dual exhaust makes it sound great. The car features 4-wheel disc brakes with Baer equipment in the rear and completely rebuilt factory set up on the front. Master cylinder is a Wilwood unit. Inside you will find a completely restored interior featuring Miata high back buckets. new carpet and all the factory gauges. The convertible top is also brand new. The exterior has been painted in Toreador Red. The wheels are 15” Daytona wires with stainless spokes and radial tires.
