1978 Chevrolet Corvette Base

1978 Corvette L 48. just over 34. 00 miles!!! Numbers matching. Car was color changed and had wheels replaced in early 80's by the dealer. 1 of 564 with brown cloth interior. Car was parked since 2000 in an enclosed garage. I have tried to keep everything original that I can. but a car this old did need some attention. Complete tune-up and oil change. Trans flush. filter. and fill. antifreeze flush. All replacement parts are AC Delco. Still have the original parts I replaced and the will be included. New calipers. pads. and master cylinder. Car is in good running mechanical condition. Body is in good shape with no cracks and good paint. Some scratches. from storage I figure. Nothing deep or into the glass. Not faded. Fiberglass T-Tops. Interior is in good shape with no cracks or excessive wear. Everything works except clock. Never tried the heat or AC. That's what the T-tops are for. Power antenna not working.

Frame has light surface rust. but is solid. True dual. no cat exhaust. Good tread on all 4 corners. Some oil drips. nothing major.

PS pump is a little noisy. I figure this all has a lot to do with how long it had sat and I have experienced leaks fixing themselves after seals swell back up. It is original car with no restoration. Original spare still under the back with the bolt lock to eliminate theft. Lock still works. Original jack and bar in storage compartment. Car is in amazing shape for the vintage.

Car does have new caps on the rear. ( not shown in pictures. sorry)

I acquired the car from somebody that bought it from the original owner in 2016. It was pulled into an enclosed trailer were it sat until I got it. I keep it inside as well. Since work was completed I have only driven it enough to test it out. Didn't want to put any more miles than necessary on it. but didn't want to be called a liar claiming it would run and drive without knowing.

Convenience group (delay dome light. buzzer. under-hood light. low fuel warning light. interior courtesy lights. Originally Corvette Light Beige. Dark Brown Cloth Interior. Only parts missing are the vacuum valve for the heater hose and an adjuster bolt for one T top handle.
