1986 AUSTIN MINI 1293cc fast road, leather seats, coil spring etc etc T

Probally missed some details here. so any q's just ask. Only for sale as I have 3 project minis and a MK 2 golf. Gutted to see it go. but needs must I suppose.

Heres the details.

1986 Mini City E. with 1293 cc engine etc

MOT till Feb 14

Tax till Oct 13

Mileage around 86 k. but engine rebuilt and clocks have since been replaced with a different set.

Body

Good shell with deseamed front and rear bumpers. Had a repair to the door step. OS Door reskinned and a OS A panel before a fresh coat of paint in September 12. Seems solid with no visible rust marks. Painted in kawaski green (the lime colour) with black additions. Sportspack arches. Black door mirrors. Powder coated black grill. headlight rings. no. plate light. New windscreen from minispares. All new window rubbers and filler stripes all round. Climair wind deflectors fitted etc. It is very solid. subframes excellent etc. Tow bar fitted.

Engine

1275 cc A-Series bored 20 thou to 1293 cc

Stage 3 cylinder head. BK 450 head gasket

Kent KC 800 camshaft

Duplex timing chain

Verto Clutch

3. 1 Final Drive. with rebuilt diff

HIF 44 carb. LCB manifold. Alloy inlet. K&N cone filter

RC 40 Twinbox exhaust system

Electric fuel pump

- Engine was rebuilt in late december 2012 when changing diff final drive ratio. Painted in lime green and black and has only covered a couple of hundred miles since. Oil pressure very good. consistant etc.

Interior

Head lining sprayed black by previous owner.

Custom Dashboard - Black flocked dashboard with 3 aux gauges (vacuum. oil pressure. voltage) and 110 mph mini clocks with aftermarket lighting kit.

Front speakers fitted in dashboard.

Rear speakers fitted on a raised custom fibreglass speaker shelf.

Black leather seats from fiat coupe in the front. with black leather/vinyl look rear seat to match.

Black door cards with alloy handles.

Black carpets with closed cell foam underlay.

NEW Rear arch vinyl trims included but not yet fitted.

Carbon fibre look gear stick gaiter. chrome gearknob.

Electrics

Mostly rewired engine bay due to old fragile loom. New wiring run in and cloth wrapped as per a modern car.

Seperate blade fusebox for all aux devices. shows when a fuse is blown etc.

Sony CD/AUX/MP 3/Radio wired in under dash. using correct ISO plugs so you can upgrade "plug n play".

Rip Speed speakers in the dash. JVC speakers at the rear.

Double 12 v sockets (for charging phone etc)

Alarm fitted with interior sensors. shock sensors etc.

Wipac AUTOPAL headlights. halogens.

Also high beam spots in grill.

Alot of new electrical items including aux fuse box. standard fuse box. starter relay. flasher relay. wiper motor. front headlights. front indicator units. fuel pump etc.

Suspension/Brakes

Regularly greased in my ownership.

MINITASTIC coil spring conversion. fast road type. Adjustable height. *replaces rubber cones with a modern coil spring*

GAZ lowered adjustable shock absorbers.

All new knuckle joints all round.

Service items including rebound buffer. balljoints etc.

8. 4" disc brakes up front. spacered drums at rear. Fairly new discs and pads (ebc black stuff pads).

Track rod ends fairly recent.

Front tie bars replaced and half poly/half rubber bushes used.

Wheels and Tyres

12 x 6 minilite style alloys.

Front semi deep dish. rears deep dish.

Fitted with a matching set of recent Falken tyres (the new type. not fk 06. )

Finished in black. chrome nuts. No centre caps on the front.

Green dice valve caps.
