This is a sweet and beautiful vehicle. It fires up right away. is mechanically sound and runs well though it does need work. I'd have loved to restore it but decided to sell instead so someone else can bring it back to its glory.
For those less familiar with Citroens. it has a Citromatic clutchless automatic shifter. hydropneumatic suspension with both automatic and manual height selection. turning headlights. inboard disk brakes.
The hydraulics (the car uses the better. green fluid) were rebuilt by a prior owner but still need some finishing work. The interior upholstery and floor require rehab. The body's in reasonable shape
The Citroen DS is unique and turns heads wherever you go. My children first thought it was a sports car from the front and their first comment was: Cool! This is a chance to buy a collector car for a low price and get to know it as you bring it up to whatever standard you wish. I can refer you to qualified shops and parts sources. both of which are readily available.
The vehicle is in upper New York State and can be viewed at your convenience by appointment.
