I am selling a 1955 Messerschmidt KR175.  I have had this Messerschmitt on display for about 3 1/2 years.  The previous owner had owned the Messerschmitt since 1967.   It had not ran in most of those years.  The odometer shows 10450 but I do not know if that is accurate or if it works.  We did start the Messerschmitt and had it running from a temporary fuel source.   This is a car for restoration.  The Patina is very nice and could be used without a repaint.  The original color was light blue .  Some of the stamping on the car are:  Sachs engine. Engine # 1669702  MOT NR 1669702Baujahr 54. 175L     There are a few additional photos on my website: stevesbritishconnection.  Please feel free to call me with questions or of you are a bidder.   I am a licensed Illinois dealer.  Buyer will be responsible for Sales Tax and title fee.  I am required to collect sales tax at time of purchase for some states.  Other states will pay directly to your department of motor vehicles.  Payment will be made by wire transfer only.  These Messerscmitts are highly collectible.  This is a great opportunity to own one at a very reasonable price.
