The top of the line luxury sedan of all Cadillacs is the Fleetwood Sixty Special. 1961 FLEETWOOD LOADED WITH ELECTRIC EVERYTHING AND AWESOME LOOKING !
I've spent heaps on this car. much more than what I am asking.
The body is in good condition. There's a dent at the top of the front guard and another in the bonnet. suffered in transit from the USA.
Paint looks to be mostly original. I have had it professionally polished.
The interior is original. nice for 52 years old but needs some attention (the driver's seat has some cracking). Heaps of room in the back. The door trim and dash are in good condition. Nice tinted glass with a new windshield fairly recently. Beautiful inside the boot. Underneath is original. just cleaned and painted. The chrome and stainless are all in very good condition.
The 390 V 8 runs strong. Automatic transmission has had a full service and leaks rectified.
4 brand new radial tyres were just fitted to replace the old cross ply tyres in the pictures.
I have spent a LOT of money to have the following work done: replaced front and rear shocks. upper control arm bushes. lower control arm bushes. upper ball joints. lower ball joints. radius rod bushes. spark plugs and leads. distributor cap. The brake master cylinder. brake booster and carbie have all been rebuilt. A new high pressure power steering hose been put in and other mechanical issues attended to. A new carpet kit in gunmetal grey has been fitted (see last photo).
ON CLUB PLATES (not transferable) therefore in ROADWORTHY CONDITION.
Comes with a Vehicle Import Approval document and ready for full rego (LHD) if you want.
This rare Cadillac is a real nice comfortable cruiser.
