All of these photos were taken October 2016. This is exactly how the truck looks (no games).
Underside speaks for itself.
At Barrett Jackson in Scottsdale this past January 2017 the exact same truck sold for $24. 00. 00 plus 10% commission. (Same year. same color)I inspected the BJ truck myself and it was nice but. mine is nicer.
The 2nd to last photo shows the cab when removed from the spray booth. The last photo is when the truck was pulled out of a barn in Plymouth MA.

To answer some questions;
The rims on all Studebaker 1/2 ton trucks were painted Red regardless of body color.
The Factory overdrive works perfectly as designed.
This truck could be driven anywhere. however it is a 64 year old vehicle and has no safety equipment other than seat belts.
The brakes work fine but they are all drums and stop as they would expect of a vehicle built in 1953.
Yes. this is very RARE compared to Chevy. Ford or Dodge trucks.
Parts are available through Studebaker International and other Studebaker parts providers (check Hemmings Motor News). I did locate some photos when it was in the restoration shop. For those interested I can email them to you.
