1955 Oldsmobile Rocket 88 - Newberg Showroom

This Oldsmobile 88 is equipped with a 324 Rocket V 8 engine and a 4 speed hydra-matic transmission. It has power steering and brakes. wide whitewall tires and full wheel covers

The Oldsmobiles were completely restyled in 1954 with new longer and lower body shells and wrap-around windshields and rear windows. Wheelbases increased to 122 inches. Base models reverted to being simply called 88 s after being designated as De Luxe 88 s for only one year and the Super 88 was once again the top series. The Rocket V 8 was enlarged from 303 to 324 cubic inches.

The 1955 models were heavily face-lifted with new grille work. taillights and body-side chrome. Horsepower for the 324-cubic-inch Rocket V 8 increased to 185.

Out of State Buyers
Out of state buyers are not charged tax. title. or license. The customer is responsible for registering the vehicle in their home state.

Taxes and Fees
In state buyers will be charged state and local taxes. title. registration. and documentary fees. Our documentation fee is $50. All sales transactions must be completed within 5 days of auction close.

Deposit
We require a $1500 deposit within 3 days of winning the auction. Please call the dealership to make arrangements for payment.
