Hi I am selling a 1957 Belair original CA car super solid with over $60 k invested in custom frame. sheet metal and suspension parts. This is one off chevy I don't think you will find a match at any car show. Main purpose behind this built was to go to SEMA. I have a clean CA title. original vin and cowl tag.
Originally started as a 2 nd owner no post car. it was completely taken apart dipped and sealed. The custom frame was built by Richard Rydell certified NHRA chassis builder. The front clip is Kugel SS independent front suspension with polished calipers and tubular a-arms. The rear end was custom built by
Currie 9" Ford with disk brakes and coil over shocks. Rear end has posi. over sized bearing and lager axles. This is a full roller with disk brakes and rotors. This car has a custom built roll bar it was tucked up into the roof so headliner can be installed over it and it utilizes A pillars and C pillars to save room inside the car. Once interior is installed most of it will be hidden.
The frame is fully channeled into the body will all new interior floors and transmission tunnel. The front A pillars where moved down 2". the front windshield frame and channel was recessed into the cowl and all the sheet metal was reworked to achieve the perfect look.
The original glass will be used the size or shape was not changed. The brake booster is already installed under the dash just needs plumbing. I do have another complete bare dash that i was planning to use I will include it with the car. The front windshield wipers assembly is already installed. The rear trim. front and rear bumpers where professionally lead into the body with some hand made sections from sheet metal to save on weight.
The rear rims in the pictures are not included with the car if you want them contact me.
I have another set that will be included and installed for the new owner they are Budnik with 29 x 18. 50-15 LT tires. I have uploaded couple pictures of all the parts that will come with the car. Exhaust was already built from headers back with 2 flowmaster mufflers.
