1992 Chevrolet Camaro Z 28 – 25 th Anniversary Edition -

5. 7 V 8 TPI – 4 speed automatic

This is a rare high specification Z 28 model Camaro from the last year of production for the Third Generation model. You will have probably seen many Camaros of this ilk for sale but a late production 5. 7 V 8 equipped car is a rare beast indeed and even rarer in such fine order.

This was the most powerful third generation Camaro from the factory and as far as I can tell this car comes with nearly every option available at the time. Included is the G 92 performance package. only available as standard equipment with the 5. 7 V 8 motor. and includes rear disc brakes. a limited slip differential. performance rear axle. engine oil cooler and dual cat sports exhaust system. In addition the options include grey leather seats. electrically adjustable driver's seat. electric mirrors. electric windows and fully working air conditioning. Also included is an aftermarket CD player. I have the original radio factory cassette deck if anyone wanted to put it back to factory standard.

The car is in excellent condition inside and out with absolutely zero rust on the bodywork. a very clean underside and superb grey leather seats with black carpet and headlining. The paintwork is a bright red with few imperfections. For a car of it's age the condition is superb. As for the interior I would go as far to say that it is near immaculate. The mileage is an indicated circa 36. 00 which I believe to be genuine based on the condition of the car. I think anyone who saw the car ‘in the flesh' would agree. The only modification is the 17'' Rocket Racing alloy wheels which are fitted with 245/45/17 tyres (with plenty of remaining tread). These wheels really accentuate the car's classic short deck. long hood American styling. Other than the wheels this car is totally unmolested and free from modifications.

The engine runs very smoothly and bears all the hallmarks of a low mileage car it doesn't burn oil. doesn't puff blue smoke or make any untoward noises or rattles. Likewise the transmission shifts smoothly and the fluid is a healthy red colour. The brakes pull the car up sharply and straight and the pads and discs have plenty of life left in them.

The car was imported and first registered in the UK in 2008. I purchased it in September 2009 and am the second UK owner. During my ownership the car has always been stored in a garage and really only used for shows and sunny days. but has been on several long trips and proven to be dependable. I am the second UK owner and have a good deal of paperwork and invoices for the car. Contrary to a lot of the nonsense I hear about American cars. getting insurance and parts for these is not a problem at all.

In summary these cars are hard to find in this condition and I've thoroughly enjoyed owning it. but an impending house purchase means I could do with moving it on.

The car has 12 months MOT and tax until 31/08/13.

NB: Please see below for extra photographs including the underside. engine bay and all important RPO code sticker!!
