Family-owned vehicle. like new. Purchased in Walla Walla. WA. Have complete ownership history. I have owned it since 1997. Total restoration completed in 2006. Every effort was painstakingly accomplished to ensure all details that meet the eye also meet the factory model description. Every removable part was either reconditioned or replaced with NOS or reproduction parts. Engine. transmission and differential were completely overhauled to new specs with new bearings. bushings. etc. Drums turned. new brake shoes. cyl. . etc.
The stakebed and racks are reproductions from Northern Classic Trucks in Sterling. MI. New 7. 50 x 20 tires and tubes mounted on reconditioned wheels. The truck has been well-received at shows with 12 first places and one second place out of the 13 times shown and judged. These shows included two National Ford V 8 Club Meets earning a Dearborn award at each one. These trucks are very rare. as only 55. 00 were produced from 1938-1947. Many of those remaining have been hotrodded or modified making this one of the very few to be restored to the original configuration. The purchase of this beauty would add a rare gem to your unique collection.
