Here we have for sale my much loved Alfa Romeo GTV6. A legendary marque. seen in James Bond Octopussy. and in recent Top Gear episodes.  In my opinion the best looking Alfa of all time from the period. I've not owned her for long. but I just don't have the time to drive it with a full-time job. a new born second baby. nbsp;and my new business. So am looking for her to find a new home. preferably to someone that really appreciates these cars. a fellow Alfisti.  Gearbox is perfect. no whines. and no grinding noises when changing gear.  
Has a good positive feel. Engine is very good. no smoking. no burning of oil - No oil leaks! The car overall is in very good 100% original condition. and I've done a lot of work to her over the past few months. and spent thousands of pounds.  
Some of the recent work carried out detailed below: 
1. Completely refurbished propshaft. every rubber guibo coupling replaced from flywheel to transaxle. (These are very expensive items. )2. Overhauled gear linkages.  3. Remanufactured rear callipers 4. New rear brake pads 5. Brakes bled 6. New rear discs (drilled/slotted) 7. New water pump 8. New mechanical tensioner - (old style tensioners prone to leaking oil). a worthy and recommended upgrade from the original 9. New cam belt 10. Refurbished radiator and fans 11. Refurbished wheels 12. New HT Ignition leads 13. Thorough going-over of the electrical system. everything works as it should.  14. Recent machine polish 15. Full service (plugs. oil. filters) 16. Brand new seat belts 17. Replaced most of the rubber hosing in the engine compartment 18. Recent wheel alignment and wheel balancing 19. Undercarriage has had a professional. full 3M Shutz Stonechip treatment. for decades of corrosion free motoring
The car drives very well. has loads of power. starts easily. stops well and steers well. Front end feels nice and tight.   Car has a 1 year MOT (expires 27 July 2014) and tax for about 5 months. Structurally she is sound. all rust issues on the car have been attended to. the front inner wings were repaired. as well as the rear outer arches and spare wheel well. Floor pan is solid as well as all the jacking points. The only visible rust is on the lower drivers' door. its just a bit of scab (still paint coloured) at this stage. could do with being attended to. barely noticeable unless you look for it.  
All electric items work. wipers. lights. indicators. electric windows. rear fogs. radio. heating/fan etc. Spare wheel (same/matching to wheels fitted) is present. along with original jack. Car has an extensive history. dating back to its day of purchase. with hundreds of receipts and even some old photos from the early 90s of it taking part in an autocross. Old MOTS from the 80s etc. Full engine rebuild in 1996.
