1965 Replica/Kit Makes Factory Five Roadster - Cobra - Shelby Cobra

Awesome car. but I need to sell it asap! It took me about 2 years to build and it has over $35. 00 dollars invested during the build not counting labor time. The car is currently registered as a: Year: 1965. Make: Factory Five. Model: Roadster. There was no emissions required when registering in CT due to its "age". Again. it is currently registered. and insured in CT. During Inspection it was given a new CT VIN #. The FFR Frame number is F 5 R 1007941 RD.

Being a USAF veteran. I painted and themed it after the P-51 Mustang Airplane (see pictures) . The passenger roll bar can be unbolted and decals can be removed for those who wish to change the theme and go

to a

more traditional shelby look (I had many questions on this as everyone seems to want blue with white stripes). This car is named ''Double Trouble" and it turns heads and gets compliments everywhere though so change if you wish. It's an excellent running fully Rebuilt & modified 302 fuel injected engine from the 1994 Mustang donor car. It has a comp cam that sounds beautiful (especially at idle). The heads were ported and polished

professionally.

It has larger fuel injectors. a Cobra intake. BBK mass air. under drive pulleys. factory five gauges. etc.

It was professionally tuned and dynoed in economically to perform at 312 hp "This was at the rear wheels" so it is higher coming from the

crankshaft

and yes the car still flies due to how light it is as it isn't over powered. It gets about 20 mpg when cruising down the highway with the fuel injection. 5-speed transmission and 3:55 rear end combo. It isn't horrible on the ears either when cruising down the highway. Has a

gears installed in the rear which matches everyday driving wonderful and still perfect at the stop lights to have fun with. It has new disc brakes all the way around and a new Wilwood manual master cylinder. It has the windshield wiper and heater/defroster kit also installed in it because CT required them for passing the state Inspection. It also has a cd stereo with aux input which makes cruising extra fun for longer trips to car shows. I've driven it about 3000 miles in the two seasons it's been on the road. I'm unsure of the actual mileage I've done with it because the speedo gear in the tranny doesn't catch the sender enough to display properly (I haven't made it a point to fix yet and won't have time to). Other than that. it's awesome for this cheap of a price and needs nothing but a new owner that has the passion as well. I'm looking to close on a house

in a few weeks and can use extra money.
