1954 Lincoln Capri for sale
Current customer rating:
1954 Lincoln Capri 2 door hardtop.
A really nice 50's survivor.
The car is from an estate that consisted of 93 old 50's and 60's and early 70's cars and trucks.
It has been in dry storage near Medical Lake. Washington since 1975 and was pulled from storage and trailered to my garage in western Washington recently so I could clean it up and get it sold.
It has the original 318 V 8.
The engine turns over and has compression but no attempt has been made to start it.
The entire fuel system will need to be cleaned/serviced before starting it.
The car looks to be solid and all original.
All the trim. chrome. hubcaps. badging. spare tire etc are there.
The glass is intact.
The electric windows work.
It is equipped with power steering and power brakes. Other than washing and vacuuming the car and verifying that the engine turns over no other work has been done to the car since it was pulled from storage.
It is sitting just as it was driven into the storage building and parked back in 1975.
The odometer reads just under 12. 00 miles but since the owner passed away I have no way of knowing if it is accurate.
The title is clear and has been transferred into our name for sale.
The buyer would need to arrange shipping and since the car is not currently running please note that it will need to be winched onto the transport. This has not been an issue with other non running cars that I have sold out of the estate but a couple of the transporters did charge the buyer an additional $50 fee.
The car is also for sale locally so it is subject to prior sale.
If you have other questions please feel free to ask. I am happy to gather any pictures or other info if I can.
