Professionally Restored 280-Z - $9500 obo (Spokane)
This vehicle was professionally restored from 1997 thru 2000 by a former crew chief on a Datsun SCCA racing team who is recognized as one of the premier Z-Car restorers in the South West. The following restoration steps were undertaken in the restorer's shop or in facilities that he uses extensively. Over $15. 00 on mechanicals spent there and an additional $3. 00 at the paint-shop. LESS THAN 25. 00 MILES DRIVEN SINCE RESTORATION
Engine:
Down to bare block--block magnafluxed and rebored 30 thousands over. New pistons. new connecting rods. bearings. crank magnafluxed and resurfaced. hot cam. new lifters and valve train. heads ported & polished. new seals. gaskets. hoses. belts and wiring. All new injectors. Ignition system updated. Exhaust headers and new exhaust system.
Drive Train
New Centerforce clutch & pressure plate. 5 spd transmission. rear-end and drive shaft checked for functionality
Suspension
All suspension components changed. Urethane bushings thru out.
Brakes:
new lines thru out. front calipers changed to Toyota truck dual piston calipers. Stops straight as an arrow quickly.
Interior:
ALL new interior. seat covers. carpet. console. dash. hi-density foam insulation used thru out cockpit. Excellent Pioneer sound system & Cd player
This car is rock-solid!!! It accelerates like a motorcycle and corners like a slot-car.
I'm selling it 'cause I live out of the Country and do not wish to store a beautiful vehicle like this.
