  RARE EARLY 1955 VOLKSWAGEN PANEL VAN.


Up For sale is my  1955 V-Dub unfortunatley an apprentice wage doesnt allow me to complete two projects so with much sadness she has to go. For a 58 year old vechicle it still remains in great shape. She was Last registered in Western Australia in 1978. This Bus in 90% compete and incudes alot of the hard to source parts and every panel with hinges. The old girl still starts fine. we drive it back and fourth on the driveway no problem. it is fitted with matching year numbers 36HP engine. This beauty has been sitting in the garage since I got her and I havent had time to do much at all . As you can see in the pictures the bus is still very straight and the patchy paint does it no justice in photos. The cargo doors were almost impossible to find and have arrived recently from california. Both the front and hard to find rear bumpers are included. The old girl would make a great resto project or leave it as a rat.
I still have the front glass and there is also a spare rim and tyre behind the seat.

What needs to be done. As you can see in the pictures there in rust in the lower nose and does require a new inner and outer skin. There are rust free sills on the bus but they have been tucked under and riveted. There are a few repairs and small holes that would need attention. The underside seems to be quite solid still but may require jacking points. outriggers ect.

There is no reserve
