1974 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic

Fully Electric Volkswagon Bug!!
I purchased the car a couple years ago from the builder who was meticulous and spared no expense on the build of this car. He worked for a local solar panel company and this vehicle was used primarily in trade shows. so including our use. it has been driven less than 1000 miles. The body and paint are in excellent condition. absolutely rust free with new paint. The car looks great!!! This is not a show quality paint job . but the pearl in the beige shines beautifully. I have receipts for nearly 30k in parts on this car. the kit of the major parts was 15k alone!! All of the mechanical components are new !!! We are selling this because we haven't had a chance to drive it since we had a baby last summer and we could use the money and garage space. Getting a car seat in the back of this would be difficult. I would entertain trades or trades and cash. so let me know what you have. I might consider a Fiat 500e. now that we have been bitten by the electric bug. so to speak.
Everything in this car was replaced and is nearly brand new still!!!
The major components related to the conversion are as follows:
40 GBS Lithium LiFepo4 100ah cells
-Kostov 10" Beast of a motor!!!
-Evenetics Soliton 1 Controller (one of the best you can buy)
-Elcon Charger 110v or 220v with adapters for either
-Elite power solutions Battery management system
The major mechanical and aesthetic components replaced are:
Rebuilt Transaxle
-Four wheel disc brakes
-Coilover suspension
-Front and rear seat upholstery. rear seat cushion is removable to expose 12 of the cells. The back seat is not very usable because it is so small and the batteries take a little(like 2") of the foot room. We have put 4 in the car but the front seats had to be in their forward position.
-Stereo system with display screen for Battery management system
-4 Rockford fosgate speakers
The car is a ton of fun to drive and gets so much attention and blows people's minds when they see the motor! The conversions available from Zelectric or Ev West are well over 20k if you provide a Volkswagen!! This car has really high quality components and a fraction of that price! You could not buy the parts to build this car for less than i'm selling for. In fact. if you are thinking of building a car. you'd be money ahead to buy this for the parts!
