1957 Oldsmobile J-2. Factory AC “Golden Rocket 88” Convertible
Extremely rare.
Oldsmobile Golden Rocket 88 Convertible with both the J-2 engine option and Factory Air Conditioning. It is believed that fewer than 750 convertibles were equipped the 3 two-barrel carburetor J-2 engine option and fewer still with Factory Air Conditioning.
Built in Lansing MI
Finished in Iridescent Charcoal (black) with Red and White leather interior.
Body-off restoration
3 owner car with the original owner's title.
371/300 HP J 2 tri power engine. J 2 option included a trio of 2-barrel carburetors. plus higher compression and low restriction air cleaner
Factory air conditioning. Polished copper tubing.
Power seat. Power steering. Power brakes. Power top
Side panels are laser straight and have an incredible fit and finish
The chrome and bright work appear as new from the factory front to back
