Mercedes Benz 300B

Hi and welcome to the sale of my 300 B adenaeur I have owned the car of around nine years now and find myself without the time or inclination to get this lovely old car fit for the road again. I bought it off of an elderly gentleman with the same intentions as me and he owned and drove the car for some years before laying it up for thirty five year. I have completly stripped the car. with the intentions of doing it but sadly run out of time. The engine and box were removed to be cleaned and overhauled because the car was left with water in it and it solidified ( but before I did I had it running and it sounded great). the last owner told me that the car was perfect when he put it away. The interior is removed and is in remarkable condition with no rips or tears or wear marks . The doors have been repaired and leaded the wings and bonnet are all sound and require little or no work to be carried out the car has a full webasto sun roof which is also ok as far as I can see.  The chassis on this car is a remarkable piece of German technolagy and is perfect the only thing that needs doing is cleaning and painting. I have had most of the chromework done properly (coppered and then chromed). This has cost me in total around £3500 this includes door handles screen surounds door tops radiator grill and so on. The radiator has had a brand new core in it. As well as the car there is a load of spares that comes with the car such as spare engine and gear box carbs and manifolds and the list goes on there is verualy enough spare to make another car. The original bough log book as well as the latest one is here. the original service book and hand books are also present.  All in all this is an extremely rare and desirable old car and the last one sold at coys sold for over £62. 00 and I see no reason that this one (in the right hands could not be short of this.  I am only selling this car because I have'nt got the time with my other commitments.
