from the owner.

As a

dealer. collector and enthusiast for classic

cars. I am known locally for my online

marketing. Many local and out of state

collectors contact me to market their classic

cars. As with all of my cars. both personal and

consigned. I do my best to market them in a way

that is respectful for both seller and buyer.

1958 Porsche Speedster are a worldwide

renowned classic car. So expensive these days that

companies years ago started producing fiberglass kit

cars that the average collector could afford and own.

Building one was part of the joy for those that built

them with professional help or even inside their own

garages with their kids handing them tools. Either way.

these replica cars continue to be hits today for many

who want to drive them and yet afford both coin and

stress to enjoy them everyday. This little gem is just

that. A nice reproduction of the standard original 1958

Porsche Speedster. A local friend and client of mine

purchased this car just last year at televised famous a

classic car auction and enjoyed putting about 800 miles

on it before he cam to me and asked me to help him sell

it. His only reasoning. he was selling off his

collection of cars. his house and moving to San Diego

for a new job and no room to store his classic cars. So

here it is. Very little history other than his own. no

documentation on the build other than what I can see and

you will see within this presentation. We know it rests

on a 1968 Volkswagen Chassis with a single port 1600

engine that appears to be a crate block motor and no

block casing number from an original VW. The engine has

the adjustable valve guides. dual carbs and a header for

extreme performance of zero to sixty in about 3

minutes. haha. just kidding about extreme

performance. It drives. can get up to freeway speeds

and it stops. turns and steers like a 1968 VW. Drum

brakes front and rear. no leaks. no noises that are

unusual. Just Cute. inexpensive (compared to original

speedsters) driving for a car that looks like BIG

DOLLARS that the originals bring.

LOOKS. DRIVES AND FEELS LIKE A FRESH

KIT CAR BUILD!

What else am I supposed to say. it's

only has 3. 32 miles on it. Seriously

Tires have plenty of tread (90-95%) and I wouldn't

hesitate to drive anywhere on them.

The

first thing I do before I buy any car is look at it's

condition then do a very serious investigation on it's

history and care. As you can see looking at it from

top to bottom.

we have a great car here.

Condition like

this is

indicative of an owner that takes pride in their

vehicle. The builder of this car was very thorough and

whoever painted it did a very nice job no paint cracks or

unsightly blemishes and a mirror-like shine. There is only

one ding in one of the wheel caps but hardly noticed unless

your really trying to find it (Left Rear). Trunk and Engine

bays. beautiful. Interior Beautiful. Top. beautiful and no

rips. The car doesn't have the side windows so you get all

the air conditioning you want right through the open sides.

Steering is tight and the handling just like a 1968 VW

Beetle. NOT A TRACK CAR.

Just a simple single port crate motor

1600 cc dual carb motor with lots of chrome. a updated 12

volt starter and clean as a pin.

Finding an undercarriage this clean

will only happen when you find a car that has been extremely

well cared for. No rust. No leaks. No damage. This is a very

important aspect of our business model. If it isn't great

under hear. what's up top can only be superficial.

logical format that walks you around the entire vehicle with

close-up shots of every square inch.

I provide detailed

views of the interior. under the hood and then put it on a

lift to show the undercarriage and confirm that the beauty

of the car you are considering is not merely skin deep.

Even our detailers are enthusiastic about the cars they so

meticulously clean.

This reconditioning can sometimes take

several days and I've converted a paint booth. especially

prepared for the professional clay bar and polishing each

car lovingly receives.
