TOYOTA CROWN UTE PROJECT
I looked for ages about six years ago for the straightest rust free Crown ute I could find and ended up buying this. Stripped it and spent a lot of time getting it straight. Undercoated. yellow primer and then painted a pale yellow. Engine is an 18r 4 speed with new extractors.
THE GOODAll the unique ute parts are there and in good nick. Side mouldings. bumpers tail lights. tray mouldings ect. The paint is straight of the gun and should sand and polish up well. Paint provided to finish. Also has disc brake front end.
THE BADIts been in dry storage last five years and in that time I had a trailer load of parts stolen. Its missing door glass. headlights. tail shaft. bonnet hinges. bench seat and door trims. All easily found in a sedan. Couple of minor rust spots have popped up in the sills. Tailgate and under the wipers needs to painted.
