1933 Ford roadster this car has been the funnest ever I built this for the hot rod hill climb in 2016. the body was built from a rust free five window floor and two different roadster bodies all the metal work was done in the early 1970's it was all gas welded its a good job but not metal finished I left the welds they've been their for 40 plus years. The drivers door in the bottom is the only rusty part the rest of the body is rust free as is the floor it has no patches it does have a little surface rust.
The chassis is a very nice unmolested original it was blasted primed blocked and shot satin black it has original x member and cross members the axles are stock the rear is rebuilt with 3. 77 gears the front end has unsplit bones and 37-41 Ford front spindles 1940 brakes and drums front and rear that are completely rebuilt with very nice drums the car stops great. It has a stock steering box that was rebuilt. The motor is a 36 lb is a old rebuild it has no ridge it is 30 over with steel sleeves the stock heads were 20 thousands it has a original thickstun pm 7 with two brand new Stromberg 97's that have been rejetted it also has the original air cleaner a 42-8 distributor and a power master starter and alternator. The Transmission is a 37 Lincoln Zypher with nos 46 linc gears it has new bob drake Lincoln u joint. The radiator was recored the car runs 180 any and all days.
The wheels are 16 Ford wires with Firestone big and little bias with less than 3500 miles it has spun aero discs and V 8 caps.
The car has old black paint and some newer black to cover some bare areas. The top has been chopped 5 inches the canvas and irons are homemade and can be removed very easily it has a original Ford script rear window. The seat is a original upholstery 4 dr it has some wear but is in good shape. The door wood is partially there I did put 4 inch flat strap in them to strengthen them I also put mini bear claw latches in it I have the originals as well. The headlights are original Edmund and jones that have been converted to 12 volt it has electroline tail light all lights work with high beam and low and a tag light. This car is licensed and ready to go. I'm sure I've forgot something so ask questions or call 785-393-169 nine
