Recently purchased this Range Rover 1972 Suffix A vehicle to break and improve my other early one which is solid but less original. I however thought i would try and offer it for sale once. in case someone was mad enough to restore her. She is basically very original with all original factory features with only a few changes. It has had an overdrive added a long time ago and the rear lower tailgate is fibreglass. Also it has a full stainless steel exhaust and electronic ignition fitted. ( this however is damaged and incomplete as i would have tried to start her) . Engine is not seized. Some of the items still fitted are items such as bonnet letters. original early bonnet catch. Very early petrol cap. Vinyl roof lining. early ribbed ashtray. Smaller gear knob. engraved wing badges etc. No rear wiper or power steering. not even rear demist. Some tools still in place including foot pump. I have applied for a V 5 C as the previous owner only had a copy of the early V 5. It has as far as i can see one owner from 1972 - 1976. then next owner had it until 2011. The chap i bought it from had it for 2 years. The mileage appears genuine but i have no history etc to back it up. The pedal rubbers look like new and the gear box linkages are extremely tight. ( unlike my other one. )
As you can see this is a major project and i will not sell any parts off it. Will need to be collected on a trailer but does roll freely. Please note vehicle is in the NORTH OF SCOTLAND. Please email to view or discuss further.
