This particular SUV has gone through an extensive restoration and it looks absolutely wonderful! With one quick glance. youll see that not a single penny was spared in the restoration of this timeless SUV!The Toyota Land Cruiser is a series of four-wheel drive vehicles produced by the Japanese car maker Toyota. The Land Cruiser series is the longest running series in Toyota history. Finished in white with a metallic grey top. the paint is in excellent shape. The body is extraordinarily solid and straight. We did have it up on the lift and did see that the undercarriage is in absolutely wonderful condition as well! The rear has the much desired ambulance style doors. This off-road warrior is looks awesome. while ready and perfect for hot day expeditions!The restoration didnt stop on the exterior! Inside. the seats are wrapped in black vinyl and show no signs of wear. The rear seats fold down and can be stowed away for more room in the back of the SUV. The dashboard houses a set of original style gauges that look great! The door panels are very solid and look fantastic. In between the seats. there is a Tuffy Box center console. There is also a highly desirable under dash heater unit that was a better heater option back in 1976. Under the hood is where things get interesting! The FJ is powered by a Toyota Man-A-Fre 2 F six cylinder engine with a Weber 38 DGAS carburetor. This is an important part of the vehicle as most off-roaders did 350 swaps on MANY of the SUVs! The Man-A-Fre Hi-Performance 2 F engine is the highest quality available for the Land Cruiser in modern times. The engines are balanced. blueprinted and hand assembled with one goal in mind supply the engine with the broadest possible power band specifically suited to the type of driving done in a Land Cruiser while still running pump gas. Its our understanding that the carb was tuned for high altitude driving conditions. Attached to the engine is a four-speed manual transmission with available 44. The FJ has power brakes and four wheel disc brakes. Amongst other modifications. the SUV has Mallory Ignition. a highly desirable under dashboard heater. a rear high lift jack. Warn hubs and an on board air compressor that feeds both the front and rear ARB air lockers. The FJ sits upon a set of 15 grey stock steel wheels wrapped in brand new 3310. 50 R 15 LT BF Goodrich Mud Terrain T/A tires that look great. There is a full size. matching spare on the back of the FJ. This is a wonderful example of the classic Toyota FJ.
