Fully imported with all the papers and historic Arizona plates. 155. 59 miles (going up every day)

It runs fine once its warm. Smokes for the first few minutes. Nice big cloud on start up on cold day. (very common on the 19j)  Nice amount of power.

Chassis solid. No rot or welds. Original paint and decals. I like the look. Some rust and Alu corrosion in the usual places where the aluminum panels are in contact with the steel underneath.

Doors shut tight without having to be slammed. Some rust at the bottoms but it looks easy to deal with and isn't too bad (see pics).  Some repairs made to foot wells and bulkhead is intact. Beginning to show rust at the corners of the bulkhead very typical at this age and east to deal with. (see pics of the worst spot)
Depending on the day it usually drops a few spots of oil in a few places under engine bay.  I park on the gravel and call it good.

6 seater county. Seat belts good. No rips in clean upholstery.   Had new foam put in in Mexico.

Heater it the best I've ever seen in a Defender.

Boost wheels with BFG ATs with plenty of tread.

Provent 200 oil separator fitted to stop blow by gasses fouling the filter which was an issue when I bought it. It's a fantastic addition.

I'm not going to sell anything that I'm not willing to use myself for my family so I brought it down to Mexico 900+ miles to San Carlos for a vacation. It did great on the run down. Cruised happily at 55-60. Enough power to keep speed on hills and can over take when needed.

It feels more suited to slower cruising speeds of around 60 and lower. I razzed it a bit up the M11 back in October and got it up to 75ish. (Video on request) But I wouldn't recommend that unless your being chased.

It's averaged 22mpg mixed use including sandy roads on the Mexico trip. 24+ on a steady highway run. Gets about 18 in Tucson stop and go traffic.

Good honest truck that after driving it in Mexico and around Southern Arizona I wouldn't hesitate to use an expedition/adventure truck.   I would do that with the full knowledge that It could as a 27 yer old landy it could need repairs along the way. It's by no means perfect. smells of diesel. like they all do. but its great fun to drive around.  It encourages exploration and discourages drive throughs.  Oh and I've already gotten away with two tickets. the last one the guy said I was doing 46 in a 25 on little road in a conservation area.  He just said. 'I'm going to let you off cos you've got a cool truck'

Inspections welcome.

I'm happy to put you up if you fly out to look and test drive before the auction ends.  It's lovely down here this time of year.
Check out more pics at my Instagram Sonoranrovers.  I just started doing this the last few years with my dad in the UK.  It's a hobby. I'd like to make the transactions smooth and honest and make a few friends along the way.
