1966 Pontiac Le Mans GTO CLONE

I am Only Selling so I can do another project. and for no other reason. I have well over $30. 00. 00 in parts and cannot even list the labor hours or paint for this car. as they say my loss can be your dream. send me a offer - I will consider trades of muscle cars ( Dodge - Plymouth - Chevelle - Mustang)

This was not a Barn find - it was a Warehouse Find - this car was in a dry storage warehouse for over 20 years according to the seller. the car was preserved by a heavy rustoleum red primer from top to bottom -front to back was coated with this primer  . the car came as a straight six - 2 speed auto Tempest. this car had absolutely no rust or rot the only area was in the trunk from a old battery leaking. we did not cut more than a 6"x6" section out and replaced with exact piece from a donor car - this car has all OEM Original Sheet Metal "EXCEPT The HOOD" but I have the original Tempest hood - the interior is year correct Vintage1966 GTO - Black with Buckets in the front - new  black carpet -

So hear is quick summary - car has been cloned as a GTO - with numerous GTO Badges - GTO Hood with hood tachometer that works!

Body has absolutely no rust that has been hidden by body filler PROMISE - has all solid OEM sheet metal. -  frame was dismantled down to frame rails - soda blasted then Powder Coated. The body was removed from frame and a complete rotisserie refinish was performed - lizard skin spray bed liner was applied to both under body and inside the car for noise and heat reduction. as well as for extended protection of metal. nbsp; all sheet metal was taken down to bare metal. any signs of rust or rot was cut out and OEM Patch panels taken from donor cars was welded into place "NO AFTER MARKET SHEET METAL WAS USED" . the body was assembled to laser straight alignment. nbsp; the paint finish is the best you will find deep glossy finish was achieved by base coat - Eleanor Gray "also know as Pepper Gray-  5 coats of clear. wet sanded to the finish you see!

Frame was re assembled using all new modern suspension parts.  Complete PMT Suspension for front and rear. nbsp;to include control arms - upper and lower front & rear. sway bars. trailing arms. new coil springs - 4 wheel disc brakes (Electric Vacuum Pump to assist brakes)  Moser 12 Bolt Posi Traction Rear 3:43 gear set up - air shocks on rear - motor is a original Pontiac 400 built with roller lifters not a big HP motor - but has a nice cam that makes the exhaust sound good / deep throaty . the motor was a complete 100% rebuild and has been dressed out in chrome. it is cooled by a aluminum radiator with dual electric fans.  Edelbrock Endurashine Manifold. Holly 850 CFM Double Pump. with electric fuel pump. March Style Track Serpentine Pulley System -  Transmission is a 200R4 with B & M Quick Silver Floor Shifter.

Nice Stereo - Digital Gauges by Dakota Digital - Custom Steering Wheel - with tilt column by Flaming River - 21/2" Stainless Exhaust - Chip Foose Wheels  (17x8" Legend Chrome Aluminum Wheels on front corners -  17x9" Legend Chrome Aluminum Wheels on rear) with a set of Nexen N300 Tires  - Bumpers are OEM Original. just re chromed
