Painted in one of Mopar's great colors. Lemon Twist Yellow with black striping and a black vinyl roof over standard black vinyl interior.

The Road Runner was a performance based car produced by Plymouth from 1968 to 1980. Its initial concept was to take the muscle car back to its basic form. a cheap car with a big motor. Which by the way the Road Runner came through on all accounts. Consequently the Road Runner outsold the heavily optioned. more expensive GTX . the back to basics idea worked. Plymouth did pay Warner Bros. $50. 00 for permission to use the name and likeness of their popular cartoon character Road Runner. and even shelled out $10. 00 to develop the "beep beep" horn.
