1985 Jeep CJ CJ7

1985 Jeep CJ-7.  Rhino interior and Rhino exterior.  Runs great and it is a beast in the field.   This Jeep is highway legal and it is highway worthy. but it's not so clean you won't be afraid to take it to the field.   I will list as much as I can here. and I will be very honest about all it's flaws. but there is a lot more to it than what I can list and show in photos.   You would have to test drive it know what it can do.   It does have power steering. which is a plus.  It has a front locker (when you lock in the front hubs). to get you moving out of tough spots.   I have put many man hours and over 20 grand into this Jeep in the last 5 years.   I have 90% of all the receipts.   I will easily spend another two or three thousand dollars on it to make it even better - if I keep it any longer.   This is one of those projects that you know will never get your money back on it. but I cannot let it just sit.  It has a 2. 5" Pro Comp suspension lift. with a 2" body lift that makes for good highway stability at high speeds.    If I were going to keep this Jeep. I would buy a new evaporator.   It has a new A/C system under the hood. but it needs a new evaporator (the part under the dash that is about $300).   It needs a new speedometer and it could use a new master cylinder one day in the future.   The windshield needs to be re-seated with a new seal.  I would also upgrade the brakes to power brakes one day.   Here's a partial list of what's been done to it. with receipts;

This is a really good dependable Jeep.   It's a true off road beast.   This is not a show Jeep.   It has been re-stored. but it was not a 'frame off' restore.   The body does show 'some' beating.    If you know Jeeps at all. you will know that they will always cost you money.    But it's worth it if you love Jeeps.   This is a dependable work vehicle. hunting Jeep. or even a daily driver.   NOTE: This Jeep has been wrecked and/or rolled some time in it's past history (I do not know when or where or to what extent). but I have re-built it as best I could and I had the frame checked out thoroughly (I have the body shop receipt). The frame is straight and true - all good. very stable. and dependable - off the road or on the road.   No rust.  If interested. contact me for additional photos. or to make an appointment to come check it out or test drive it.   I prefer a local pick-up. but I will deliver it for a fee after you've thoroughly checked it out in person first.
