This has been my daily driver for the last two years. I'm really not wanting to sell it but as I just got a job that requires I travel more I need to sell this and get something more practical. I replaced the driver side door and front fender from another yellow 79 cvcc. The car they came off of was less shiny so they don't match perfectly with the rest of the car which is shiny. Look closely at the pictures to see the difference in sheen. I've put some mechanical work into it in the last year…-New Battery-New Tires-New Radiator-New Hoses-Carb Rebuilt
Clean title. 156k miles on the car. 5 speed. Runs great. I drive it every single day in all weather. Things I would do if I wanted it to look new would be to repair the tear in the driver seat. pull out a few very small dents. straighten the back bumper on the driver side and find the plastic piece. Paint the new door and fender to match the rest of the car. No rust under the car. This was owned by an old man in Oklahoma. I keep it in the garage. The shifter bushing could use replacing I may do that before someone buys it. Super cheap to replace. but I know the car so well that it doesn't bother me. t would maybe get a weber carb but the original has been rebuilt. I still have to choke it winter mornings and it smokes a little while warming up. but it runs great all day and doesn't smoke. I would be willing to drive it to the person who buy's it if they buy me a plane ticket home and maybe a little for my time and gas. But would MUCH rather have someone pick it up. I can upload some video of me driving it if someone is serious about purchasing it. This car is in great condition and the reserve is not below $3000 so keep that in mind while bidding.
