Cadillac has always been the pinnacle of quality and luxury and the 1950's saw some of the most beautiful Cadillac's ever made.

It's hard to look at this car by today's standards and realized that many of these beautiful cars once roamed the streets and provided an elegant drive for those fortunate enough to own one.

The Eldorado was introduced in 1953 and along with the Oldsmobile Fiesta 98 and Buick Skylark set a new bar in General Motors design and technology.

This Azure beauty is certainly an attention grabber and features those huge chrome bumpers with front Dagmars and rear bumpers with the exhaust tips coming through.

The fins on this car are large but nowhere near as flamboyant of what was to happen in the later '50's and flow nice and evenly with the large body panels and stainless trim.

There is just the right amount of gold-plating to give this beauty that extra little touch of class and elegance that you would expect from "The Standard of the World".

Under the hood you will see a very strong and quiet running 331 Cubic Inch V 8 that just purrs along as you peer out of that curved dash windshield to your long shining hood with one of the most elegant "Flying Goddess" ornaments ever placed on a Caddy.

The 4-speed Hydra-Matic transmission shifts nice and smooth and allows for comfortable driving even at highway speeds and make the experience of being the captain of this ship as easy as driving a modern car.

The interior of this beauty has retained a lot of originality and the dash displays more chrome trim than most modern cars have entirely.

This car was not a bare-bones driver back in '54 and features power windows. power steering. power brakes. Autronic Eye. an in dash clock. AM radio and power seat adorned with white and blue leather that matches the exterior beautifully.
