1978 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 NO RESERVE FJ 40 Nice Truck

1978 Cruisers are coveted by many to be the best year. I prefer 79-83's. so there is an argument about that. This 78 has the 2F inline 6 motor with the original carburetor. We tuned it. adjusted valves. got it to excellent running condition. Most of the emissions components were removed years ago. I don't have any spare emissions stuff left. but you can find and install it if your state requires. This 78 has fine spline disc brake front axle and fine spline rear 4. 10 geared. 4 speed transmission and transfer case. Tires are in the 32 in range on aluminum wheels. 2 in lift with newer shocks.

This truck was painted a dark red a couple years ago. The paint job was good. but after a couple years there are imperfections in the paint. Some chips. scratches etc. I call it a 10 foot paint job. The floor is rhino-lined. The front seats are nice and comfortable. there is a new Tuffy console with cup holders. the rear seat is a tuck and tumble with belts. New emblems and knobs throughout. Please look at all the photobucket pics. I tried to show any imperfections there.

I beleive this Cruiser to be a great driver for someone that wants a good looking truck without spending 50+k for a perfect one. I welcome 3rd party inspections during the auction. Thank you for all the questions/comments/offers on this 78 and the 67 ending no reserve. I plan to let the auctions ride to completion. I set it up that way. want to be fair and make sure everyone gets a chance to own it. Bidding is usually in the last few minutes on this type of auction. This 78 is a nice Cruiser. but not perfect. I don't mean to discourage anyone. I would rather you be pleasantly surprised. I do my best to be nit-picky on my adds in hopes to meet the expectations of most.
