You are looking at a really nice 1966 mustang coupe. This is a nice little driver quality coupe. The car fires right up and runs good and strong. The 289 engine in the car was rebuilt about 4000 miles ago and definitely had some performance work done because its runs good and is quick and strong.
The transmission shifts smoothly also. The transmission is a factory 3 speed ford transmission with an 8" rearend.
The body of the car is overall solid. The car is 50 years old and has had some bodywork done at various times in its life.
The floor pans have been repaired as well as the one of the lower front frame rails.
The body is overall very straight. The doors. trunk. and hood all shut nice and tight and line up very good. There is no rust bubbling in the body anywhere that I can see.
The interior is overall nice and original. The seats are nice with no big tears or rips. The headliner is in very good condition The carpet is also in good condition.
The console has been cut for the shifter a little in the up position. Not sure why it was done unless the console was for an automatic car and not a manual.
The trunk area in the car is very nice and the trunk floor pans are nice and solid. No rust.
The rear frame rails are also very good.
The paint looks good but it could use some wet sanding and buffing to make it look a lot better.
The car needs the brakes bled and I plan on doing that before the car leaves although it stops fine now.
