BMW 635 CSi. July 1981.

I have owned this car for 8 years and have thoroughly enjoyed it however I have no use for it now and it hasn't been driven since March 2013 and I just don't see the point in just garaging it any more.

The price will include a heap of spares and it is a job lot and the spares won't be sold separately.

If I could find a use for this car I would keep it.

3. 5 litre M30 six cylinder Engine is out of a 1984 car and has later Motronic injection system. Engine is quiet with no overhead gear rattle HM Jet coated Headers http://www. hmheaders. com. au/ . These headers are one of a batch of 10 sets made specifically for this model by HM Headers back in the early 90s from memory. These were Jet coated and never put on a car until this car 12 months ago.     Stebro Stainless performance exhaust http://www. stebro. net/html/ This is a top of the line twin performance exhaust system and combined with the headers above provides a very ‘European' and delightful sound  Exhaust System alone cost me in excess of $2. 00. Oil Cooler Delete fog lights and replaced with brake cooling ducts. Smoked lenses all round. Lightened Flywheel 5 Speed overdrive gearbox. (car was originally Auto) 3. 65 side loader LSD – try to find one of those!. New Slotted. Drilled and vented front rotors with sports pads. Top quality Alloy front and rear Strut braces. http://www. masonengineering. net/Subpages/E24. htm . These are magnificent and manufactured by MASON Engineering in the USA – He has been making racing equipment for BMWs for decades New head lights (all four and not cheap!) with 100 watt high beams with dual fuse relay. Original Factory E24 (6 series) Recaro seats in Black leather in good condition with no tears but could use some leather soap or similar and elbow grease. Bilstein front shocks and KYB Rears – a pair of rebuild-able Bilstein rear shockers are in the boot if you want Bilstein all round! Eibach springs all around. Heavy duty Selby front and rear sway bars Forged M5 wheels - 17 x 8 front and 17 x 9 rears (Nurburgring Option). Don't confuse these with ordinary Mags as they are quite special and really suit this car. Tyres are about 70% - 235/45/R17 Chrome Guard extensions. Momo Steering Wheel Electric Sunroof Electric Windows. Power Steering Power Mirrors Air Conditioning but needs gassing White and all badges removed from new I think Black tint but getting a little tatty in places. AM/FM Radio/cassette but as you will read – the stereo system does require some attention and I have never bothered – rather listen to the big six instead. Victorian registration to May 2014 Rear boot Lip spoiler

To do.

The inner front foot wells trim needs installing along with the stereo speakers. Rear speakers behind the rear passengers heads need attaching/securing.   Rear electric aerial needs replacing  repair Could do with a general tidy up

Please remember this car is 32 Years old!!

This car is a smart looking club/track/tarmac rally car that could do with an owner that can spend more time on and in it.

When I bought this about 8 years ago I was told it could be a Motorsport but there are some gurus that don't believe they made them in the 6 series and they could be right so I'm not claiming it to be one but things like the delete fog and Recaros could have clouded someone's judgment at some stage. Form your own opinion and bid accordingly please

It is a delight to drive. turns heads and would be brilliant for a Targa or other sort of tarmac rally/event. If you want to do some serious club work it would need a bigger clutch as this can slip if you try power starts.   Normal driving is fine.

Custom plates NOT included – but might be available. VIIIIV - Roman numerals for 635.

Now with the car goes a heap of spares that include. but not limited to:

·         Couple of 5 speed overdrive boxes and one old four speed.

·         Auto gearbox

·         Two side loader diffs – one is a LSD

·         4 x 16” three piece Enkie mags plus a set of steels from memory

·         A complete 3. 3 litre engine that was running when removed from the car it was in

·         Flywheels. clutches etc.

·         One complete dual exhaust system

·         Spare Motronic injection system

·         Sundry brake parts  - rotors – callipers

·         Standard lenses

·         Various belts and filters

·         Brand new 3. 5 litre cylinder head – never been on a car plus second hand valves. springs etc.

·         Two additional M30 blocks and cranks etc.

·         etc etc – boxes I haven't seen the inside of for a while.

·         Standard sway bars. remains of tow bar

·         To be honest there is much more that I don't remember and I am using this sale to have a good clean out.

Payment by direct bank account only please and an obvious collect. where is - as is. from North East Victoria and after payment in full I can store for a while after you insure.

If it doesn't sell I may consider removing some of the good gear and selling for less but we'll wait and see.  I don't want to but I have decided this car should move on to someone who can use it.

Good Luck
