1966 VC Valiant 2 Door Mopar Dodge Plymouth HOT ROD in Richmond-Tweed, NSW for sale

Current customer rating: current rating for this car(2.5) based on 794 votes

Up for sale is my 1966 VC Valiant 2 door. nbsp; it started life as a slant 6. 3 on the tree. 4 door sedan.
My father and I built this car in 2008. It is powerd by a dodge 3. 9 litre v6 that was rebuilt in 2008. It features a custom ground roller cam shaft. Keith black pistons. ported heads. custom block huggers. nbsp;electronic ignition and a 350 cfm Holley 2 barrel. It's a very reliable. cheap and fun car to drive. It has a 4 speed manual single rail gearbox. nbsp; a cut down el falcon diff with a 3. 27:1 ratio and a 2. 5 inch exhaust.
Disc brakes all around are controlled by a chrome dual circuit master cylinder and double diaphragm booster and it pulls up on a dime!

The body mods are the two door conversion. the front doors were extended 8 inches and the b pillar was moved back the same and shortened the rear doors 8 inches and welded the skins in. then had custom glass made to suit. gas strut bonnet supports. custom pop out rear windows and the side chrome and badges were shaved off for a smooth clean look.

This car is all fully engineered. The interior is all black vinyl seats and hood lining. in the front it has 1966 dodge dart bucket seats that fold forward and a Vc regal back seat with the fold down arm rest. There is 2 lapsash seat belts in the front and 3 lap belts in the back. The standard dash was striped and repainted black with silver facia. The custom cut toughened glass in it are tinted as well as the the rear window.
The car was painted in 2 pak butternut yellow in late 2008.
The wheels on the val are American racing wheels salt flat specials that measure 16x7 up front and 17x8 under the rear.
I also fitted 2 inch drop spindles to it earlier in the year to get a nice stance without losing it's drivability.

It has been a successful car at car shows winning best Vc at chryslers on the Murray twice. top street machine at the rockhampton Chrysler show. top mild/wild cutom at ballina car show. best street machine and a few others at the QLD Chrysler expo. top show car at mopar Sunday and a few others.
It's been featured in 2 magazines. Chrysler action issue 2 and street machine October 2009.

The val has been on the road since 2009 and has always been a great car to drive and deffinetly a stand out at shows and on the street.
It's a true street machine and its deffinetly one of a kind!!!
the Vc will be at mopar sundy this weekend.

Any questions don't hesitate to ask but please serious enquirers only no tyre kicking

Hi mate,

I know you have sold this car already but I have a VC that I am looking to get these salt flat wheels for and was wondering if you may be able to help me out with the specs. I have got 2" drop spindles up front and 2" blocks at the rear so was wondering if you could tell me the what the backspace was on these wheels and also what size rubber you were running.

Thanks

James
