This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is a first year Sting Ray with a numbers-matching. fuel-injected V 8.

So yes. you're looking at the ultimate collectable Vette. and its red.

Before we get into all of the hardware that will make you drool over this Chevrolet. take a moment to appreciate the concours-worthy body.

The factory-correct Riverside Red might have been named after a racetrack. but the over $10 K invested in new paintwork will have your eyes thinking this shade is about how light cascades over the amazing body.

In fact. the laser-straight panels are a telltale sign that this car was professionally restored. because the factory never got the fiberglass this nice.

Your heart rate will continue to increase as you realize that all the hard to get chrome and stainless trim is present. and pristine.

Open the door. and it feels like 1963 all over again.

There's a sea of red on the carpets. vinyl bucket seats. and dash.

Just about the only thing that breaks up this festival of scarlet is the brand new white folding roof.

The rest of the interior is factory-correct from the AM/FM radio to the heat/defrost controls. even the clock is still ticking away.

Sitting in the driver's seat is an experience with the grippy three-spoke steering wheel that is truly worthy of a vintage sports car.

Beyond that is a full set of gauges. including the 6. 00 rpm redline tach an indication of something special under the hood.

While this is a stellar Sting Ray. what makes this the star of every car show is its engine bay.

Every Corvette had a 327 cubic-inch V 8 in 1963. but they were far from being equal.

Few people were willing to pay for the pricy L 84 option that added Rochester fuel injection. which makes this 360 hp Sting Ray a rare member of Corvette royalty.

But what makes this motor irresistible is that it's the exact powerplant this convertible had when it left the St. Louis factory 52 years ago.

It only gets better when paired with the Muncie M 20 four-speed manual transmission.

The power then goes to the optional 3. 55 rear end with Positraction. which provides a good mix of fast off the line and calm cruising.

Vehicle may be sold by Streetside Classic Cars prior to the end of the auction. Streetside Classic Cars reserves the right to end its auctions early or to cancel bids solely at its discretion and shall not be held liable for any such cancellation.

The winning bidder is required to contact Streetside Classic Cars within 24 hours after the close of the auction to finalize the details of the transaction.

A $500 Paypal deposit is required immediately upon selecting the Buy-It-Now option. The $500 Paypal deposit is non-refundable as ending an e Bay auction and not buying the vehicle is very damaging to the seller. Any refunds will be at the sole discretion of Streetside Classic Cars and are not guaranteed.

If winning bidder does not contact Streetside Classic Cars and submit deposit within 48 hours of auction close. vehicle may be made available to the next highest bidder or another qualified buyer on a first come. first serve basis.

For balance of payment we will accept bank wire transfer (preferred). cashier's check. or personal check (vehicle shipment will be delayed until check clears).
