Here for sale is my 1967 Classic Austin Mini Moke.  I'm selling because I don't have time to maintain and drive it as much as I would like to.  In the 18 years I've owned it I've actually covered less than 4. 00 miles in it!
It's a great fun little car and gets lots of attention wherever it goes! A real head-turner! These cars are extremely rare these days! And ideal for the summer weather!
The original pressed-steel seats have been replaced by some slightly more comfy bucket seats. but I still have the originals which the new owner is welcome to have.
At some time an anti-roll bar has been fitted. which has enabled the fitting of seat-belts.
Also at some time the original 884 engine has been replaced by a 998cc one (which makes it extra nippy!) so although the vehicle itself has only done 29. 70 miles according to the odometer. the engine mileage is unknown.  However it runs well. although could perhaps benefit from some tweaking. following the lack of miles I've done in it!  However whatever attention it needs must be minor. as it pulls very strongly. the oil pressure is strong and it sounds just great!
The original steel wheels have also been replaced by some rather cute little alloy ones (apart from the spare).  All these modifications took place prior to my purchase of it.
I've replaced the hood (fully authentic replacement) and added some perspex wind deflectors (although I've managed to crack one of them).  The wind deflectors were also an original period upgrade.
The paintwork is in overall good condition as you can see from the photos. but there are some chips here and there.  There are also some rust "blebs" which will need some attention at some time. For some strange reason these models were made with a positive earth system. which I am told does encourage rust!  Perhaps someone could work out how to reverse the polarity.  However it is what it is.  I've had it resprayed twice whilst I've had it and guess it will always need ongoing attention.  A couple of years ago I spent over £400 on professional welding for MOT purposes. so it should be OK for a few more years yet.
I'll stress this is not a concourse model but it is a great little drive-able fun and funky classic car which you can't fail to enjoy driving!  It is roadworthy. taxed (free) and MOT'd. This is not a "project" as you see some others advertised (unless you want to make it into a concourse model of course!) It is ready to drive away and enjoy.
You are welcome to make an appointment to come and view by phoning 07906 816611. but please. no tyre-kickers!
I'm advertising with NO RESERVE so anyone who bids has a chance to win!  However I have it advertised elsewhere so fully reserve the right to withdraw it from auction at any time.
I will require a non-refundable £250. 00 deposit via PayPal immediately the auction ends. and the payment in full either by cash or bank transfer prior to the collection of the vehicle.  Unless by prior arrangement I will require the car to be collected within a week of the auction closing.
Feel free to ask questions via EBay and If I think of anything else whilst the auction is running I'll add it accordingly.
Happy Bidding!
