For restoration

This matching number car is in need of full restoration and a great project car for any Jaguar enthusiast.

Unfortunately we are still chasing the previous owner for any documentation relating to this car. We were informed that the car underwent a restoration in the early 1990s and that it was in dry storage for the last 2 years.

We have posted some further pictures online which will indicate the extent of the restoration required.

Mechanically this car requires a new exhaust system. brakes front and back to be freed. new gearbox mountings and a thorough service / tuning.

Cosmetically the car will require some attention to some rust areas which are mainly on all four doors and a full re-spray. During storage the back right wing was damaged as was the back left light housing. All these are evident from the pictures. The timber would need at least re-varnishing. the headlining would require replacing and the back seat (top of back) shows some water damage.

This auction will run to the end and if the reserve price is not met we will contact the highest bidder to discuss this car further.
