1966 Replica/Kit Makes Cobra

1966 427 Cobra Replica. Only 14. 00 miles young Not a kit car Built from new parts in a factory! This Shelby Cobra was custom manufactured by West Coast Cobras. which is one of the best and safest cobras being made. This is not a kit car. nor a car made from a donor car. This is a car made by professionals in a controlled factory environment and each car is made specifically for an individual order with new parts utilizing a Indy Car frame design. This particular Cobra was Designed and built for a retired gentleman who only drove it on bright sunny days then it rested in a controlled environment. The car is very powerful. sounds great (not your usual loud. obnoxious sound). but is very responsive when it is wanted but is also very mild mannered when required!The body is 4” wider and 6” longer than the original Cobra for added legroom and comfort. I am 6 Ft. size 13 feet and it is comfortable.

This car was designed from the ground up to provide perfect 50-50% weight balance. This car utilizes a custom built tubular steel frame made of aircraft quality steel requiring 320 hours to assemble with TIG welding. This frame provides the utmost in rigidity leading to better handling and safety.

A steel cage surrounds the occupants in the cockpit and doors much like a INDY CAR frame with zones of controlled penetration to absorb impacts.

Once seated in this Cobra. you will notice the interior looks nothing like the original. This includes full upholstering of the doors. tunnel and behind the seats. giving it a show car look. The luxurious interior includes a dash wth every gauge needed. side-door pockets. The trunk has been beautifully finished unlike most others…

The engine is a 350 with alumiumn heads. and massaged to a 375 hp. and finished with a Edlebrock dual plane manifold and Demon carburetor. It has custom Stainless steel headers connected to side pipes with muffler inserts. The engine is finished with steel braided hoses. Nostalgia valve covers and air cleaner and a mirrored panel in the engine bay.

It does have a few scratches at the front underneath where it looks like it was scratched by a curb ( see Pic).

Im selling this as a driver quality with a winter price. buy it now before it goes up in the spring.
